Quantum

Quantum computing challenges ask you to read, complete or exploit a quantum circuit, usually written with a framework such as Qiskit (gate-based) or Perceval (photonic / linear-optical). A working knowledge of qubits, superposition, entanglement and measurement is enough for most of them.

Recurring themes include implementing a known protocol (quantum teleportation), completing an algorithm (Shor’s order-finding to factor an RSA modulus), and tuning a variational circuit by minimizing a loss.
